[2026-07-22] Elevate: Body-based Coping Strategies and Movement

Take a pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself at exhale: body-based coping strategies and movement. This trauma-informed workshop invites graduate students into a gentle, welcoming space to explore movement, reflection, and connection as tools for centering and wellbeing. Facilitated by Jena @ Trustfall Arts, the session will include guided conversation, accessible body-based exercises, and co-created movement to music. No prior dance experience is necessary—just come as you are.

Jena (she/they) is a storyteller, artist, facilitator and performer who is captured by creative expression and connection in their many forms. With extensive background as a trauma-informed movement coach and dance instructor - and their lived experience as a multiracial, queer, disabled human living in a chronically ill and unpredictable body; Jena believes that movement can be powerful medicine and is dedicated to making it as accessible, equitable and dignified as possible for all bodies.
